About Us
'Zephyr' refers to a cool calm breeze. The ethos of Zephyr therapies is to create a calm and enriching space.
Josie Roche is an occupational therapist passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential. She has experience supporting children with a wide range of needs and goals, and holds a Masters of Occupational Therapy from The University of Queensland.
Josie’s therapy approach is centred on connection and fun. She uses play as a powerful tool for learning and growth, tailoring each session to a child’s unique interests—whether that’s a favourite toy, game, or hobby. She works closely with families to set meaningful goals in the areas of self-care, learning, and leisure, and supports these through practical strategies that can be used at home, school, and in the community. Josie values celebrating what makes every child unique and strives to create a safe, positive environment where children feel confident and engaged.
Outside of work, Josie enjoys spending time with her French Bulldog, Alice, catching up with friends and family over brunch, visiting the beach, playing board games, and watching movies.
Fees
Sessions are $193.99 per hour, or $145.49 for a 45 minute session.
Report and letter writing is also charged at $193.99 per hour.
There may be an additional fee for travel to and from your home, school or childcare centre.
NDIS
You can use your NDIS funding to pay for Occupational Therapy services with no gap. We accept both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
Private Health Insurance
You may be covered for Occupational Therapy services under your private health insurance. Please contact your health fund for more information.
Medicare
You may be eligible for a rebate for up to five sessions per calendar year using a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan from your General Practitioner. Please note if you choose this option you will be required to pay the full fee, but you can then claim the rebate back online or via the medicare app.
